Whakairo

The Whakairo Series (Maori Carvings) is an ongoing collaboration with Maori carver, Harlem Shine. Born in Hastings, Harlem is of Nga Puhi decent. He moved to Ohope in 2010 and has been carving up a storm ever since. I have started producing these artworks in preparation for our collaborative exhibition scheduled for late 2024.
